Work Schedule:

• Monday–Friday.
• 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Day Shift).

Position Overview

VCPG is seeking a professional, customer-focused Unarmed Corporate Security Officer to provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at a premier corporate campus in Foster City. This position requires maturity, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining a visible security presence.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while enforcing security policies and responding effectively to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols of assigned buildings and surrounding property.
• Monitor the premises to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Control access by verifying the identity of employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident and activity reports.
• Enforce client policies, procedures, and site-specific security protocols.
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, employees, visitors, and emergency responders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of security experience preferred.
• Corporate security experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in stressful situations.
• Proficiency with smartphones, incident reporting software, and email communication.
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.

Requirements:

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
• Ability to successfully pass a background investigation, including California Live Scan.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to regularly climb stairs.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Availability to work overtime when operational needs require.
