Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Position in Millbrae, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. You will deliver outstanding customer service, support a welcoming environment, and communicate with professionalism. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
- Monitor access points, observe activity across the location, and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.
- Support retail operations by assisting with crowd management, queue observation, and/or closing procedures while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
