In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $30.55 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Tue 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Sat 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Sun 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or badge procedures in support of site protocols at a fast‑paced technology‑focused location. Support emergency and business continuity procedures by assisting with evacuations, access control changes, and/or other security‑related duties as directed. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
