Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions at the location. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel. Support site operations during changing weather, shift changes, and/or after‑hours activity by remaining attentive to security‑related conditions and following post orders throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. CPR and First Aid are preferred. Possession of a guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
