Job Description As a Security Officer Day Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.05 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces, verify access permissions when required, and assist with directing foot traffic and/or answering general questions. Support order at the location by following post orders, communicating with supervisors and/or local agencies as needed, and preparing clear, accurate incident and activity reports. Minimum Requirements: A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
