Are you an organized and solution-driven construction bookkeeper with 5 years of full-charge accounting experience and a great work ethic? If so, we’d like to talk with you. Our busy company is looking to hire an experienced construction bookkeeper to assist us in managing all financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payables, general ledger journal entries, and payroll. Our ideal candidate will have relevant knowledge of construction accounting best practices and will be proficient with accounting software. $21 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:- Perform accurate and timely data entry of all financial transactions into accounting systems
- Maintain and update financial records, including contracts, budgets, tax reports, and financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, checks, and payroll
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare detailed financial reports and assist in forecasting budgets, costs, and project timelines
- Reconcile real estate commissions accurately and in a timely manner
- 5 years of experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry
- 1 to 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- High level of professionalism
- Willing and able to embrace new technology, master it, and teach it to others
- Strong computer/tech skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Self-starter who is willing to take charge with little supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed oriented
- Positive, can-do attitude
