Position Overview

This position requires an experienced candidate to perform diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring, as well as assist in various cardiovascular assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional radiology and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring.
• Conduct neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart exams.
• Utilize Cath lab specific equipment for hemodynamic monitoring.
• Administer conscious sedation to adult patients following established policies and guidelines.
• Conduct diagnostic hemodynamic monitoring and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to assess cardiovascular health.
• Assist in the recovery of Cath Lab patients as needed in the step-down unit or post-anesthesia care unit.

Work Schedule

This role operates on a Day 4x10-Hour shift (07:00 - 17:30). Weekend and on-call responsibilities include:

• 1-2 weeknight on-call shifts and 1 weekend every 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Charting experience with Epic is preferred.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Patient Care Details

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Approximately 10 patients
• Number of Rooms: 5

Additional Information

Staffing support includes respiratory, interpretation, radiology, social services, and pharmacy teams. The successful candidate should possess skills in:

• Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional catheterizations.
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
