Position Title: Quality Inspector

Wage: $18.50/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
- Performing first article, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance
- Utilizing precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, and other testing devices to validate dimensions and tolerances
- Reviewing manufacturing documentation, work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality records to ensure adherence to established standards
- Accurately documenting inspection and testing results in quality databases, ERP systems, logs, and related reporting tools
- Identifying, documenting, and communicating product defects and nonconformances to appropriate personnel
- Supporting investigations and root cause analysis efforts to determine source of quality issues and recommend corrective actions
- Verifying implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions
- Collaborating with other teams to resolve quality concerns and prevent reoccurrence
- Assisting with internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections as required

Requirements for Quality Inspector:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, quality inspection/assurance, or related field preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification or vocational training in manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering technology, or related field preferred
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Strong attention to detail with ability to identify defects and process deviations
- Working knowledge of quality inspection techniques, sampling methods, and manufacturing quality systems
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, data entry systems, and ERP software
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours; lift/move up to 30 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment
