What You'll Do:

• Draft, edit, and publish: Employee communications, Intranet articles, Internal email campaigns, Employee engagement posts, social media content (primarily LinkedIn), Marketing communications assets, Landing page content
• Manage communications from concept through final execution.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews and approvals.
• Support communications related to major business initiatives, organizational changes, events, and business priorities.
• Assist with communications supporting the annual ASTRO conference and other high-profile initiatives.
• Develops partial communication plans.
• Implements communication activities defined in annual communication plan.
• Determines and schedules individual measures.
• Contributes to publications, articles etc.
• Instructs external service providers in implementing communication activities.
• Monitors communication activities and budget appropriated for such activities.
• Needs professional technological, economical or scientific know how, methods, tools and principles, and applies to differing and variable situations.
• Needs to solve assigned, non-routine tasks, to contribute to projects or assignments, or to support development of guidelines, methods, tools or business processes.
• These positions are expected to contribute to and deliver business processes or detailed technology solutions, in a self-managed and target oriented manner, and thus contributes to team results.
• Positions focusing on analyzing, developing, testing or implementing processes, technologies and systems in their specific field of expertise, from first principles. 
• Targets are short to medium term (best to be characterized as milestones), and achievements are monitored.
• They may provide functional advice to and integrate services of operational staff or semi-professional colleagues.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 10+ years of experience in Corporate/Internal Communications
• 10+ years of experience in tailoring messaging for different audiences and communication channels
• 10+ years of experience in managing communications end-to-end, from strategy through execution

What Sets You Apart:

• Bachelor's Degree 
• Marketing Communications (MarCom) experience
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities
• Ability to take complex information and translate it into clear, concise, audience-friendly communications
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• LinkedIn/social media content development experience
• Understanding of social media best practices, including:
• Copy development
• Visual selection
• Calls-to-action
• Landing page alignment
• Experience supporting large corporate initiatives and events
• Microsoft Office Suite
• PowerPoint (heavily utilized by the team)
• SharePoint site creation and maintenance
• Microsoft Teams and Teams Channels
• Employee communication platforms or email deployment tools
• Experience with tools similar to YesPress is helpful, but direct YesPress experience is not required
• Master Entry. 
• Good knowledge in a technical field or business method including the basic theoretical background. 
• Develops basic business understanding. 
• Contributes to team effort, awareness of expected value add. 
• May improve processes, business methods or technical components
