Registered Nurse Infusion

Job Summary:

The Infusion RN position involves providing specialized patient care within an infusion center setting. The role requires administering infusions, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed to optimize treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer intravenous infusions to patients following physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and response during and after treatments.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information in Cerner system.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on infusion procedures, medications, and post-treatment care.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to radiation safety standards when managing treatment equipment.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid WV or Compact RN license; pending licenses accepted.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years RN experience, preferably in oncology or infusion settings.
  
  
• 
  Certification in BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of infusion procedures, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  
  
• 
  Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility.
