Job TitleMaintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Mission, Beliefs/Values, and AIDET customer service model.Triage and rooming of patientsMust comply with keeping up with logs that must be completed for compliance by state agenciesPerform vital signs, allergies, height and weight and medication history pre-examinationAssist in patient/family educationPrepares and administers injectionsDress wounds/remove suturesAdministers cognitive testing as applicableDocumenting appropriately in patient medical record all interaction with patient in timelyScheduling of precertification of hospital proceduresKnowledge of medication including specific dosing and under the direction of physician correctly ordering, refilling and attaining insurance approval for prescriptionsReviews messages from physicians throughout the day and follows instructions as indicated, including contacting patients with any new instructions for care, medication information, referrals, etc.Reviews unreconciled labs and diagnostic imaging and performs reconciliations at least dailyReviews escripts throughout the day and submits refills to physiciansProcesses FMLA, disability forms, and other applicable requests timelyProvides support and assistance as needed to patients, medical assistants, physicians, and other staffAssists physicians with clinical procedures for patients as neededSome administrative duties as trained and assigned i.e. Computer applications, Answering Telephones, Greeting patients, Scheduling appointments, Updating and filing patient medical records, Coding and filing out insurance forms, scheduling appointments, arranging for hospital admission and laboratory services, and handling correspondence, billing, and bookkeepingAny other duties assigned as needed to help drive our Mission and abide by our organizations valuesQualificationsBasic Life SupportLicensed Practical NurseAdvanced Life SupportDe-escalationCardiopulmonary ResusPedi Adv Life SupportEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
