Substitute Administrative Assistant

The School District of Onalaska is seeking an adaptable and dependable Substitute Administrative Assistant to step in during staff absences and maintain smooth daily operations in our school buildings. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the front office-warmly greeting visitors, handling incoming phone calls, and assisting students, staff, and families. Essential responsibilities include managing daily communications, updating records and attendance, routing correspondence, and supporting general clerical tasks as needed.

Please note that this is an "as-needed" substitute position with no guarantee of regular hours or ongoing employment.

Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher and experience in an administrative assistant role. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the flexibility to jump into a fast-paced environment while upholding strict confidentiality.
