Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Ohio

Start Date: November 20, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Shifts may vary to meet operational needs. Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

Highlights:

• Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with potential to float to similar patient care units and emergency department for continuity of care
• Patient population may include those requiring ventilator management
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (passing score required)
• Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months with facility approval
• Comprehensive orientation and ongoing education support provided
• Pre-start modules required (average 6-15 hours; 4 hours billable)

Requirements:

• Active and permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry specialty
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from the past 12 months (no co-worker references accepted)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Background check with no open cases and clear license history required
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
