Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

We are currently seeking an associate attorney to join our workers' compensation team in Atlanta. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of practice experience in workers' compensation defense. Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants

Qualifications
Motivations: Inspired to perform well by having ample time to pursue work and interests outside of work
Education: Juris Doctorate or better.
Experience: 2-3 years: Prior workers' compensation experience encouraged
Licenses & Certifications: Bar
