Quality Assurance Representative

Overview Insight Global is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to support mission-critical federal construction projects at Los Angeles Air Force Base. This role is responsible for providing on-site quality assurance oversight, ensuring all construction activities comply with contract requirements, approved plans, and federal regulations. The QAR will work closely with contractors, government stakeholders, and project teams to monitor progress, resolve issues, and uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Provide on-site quality assurance oversight for federal construction projects in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Perform comprehensive inspections of new construction and renovations, including structural, architectural, roofing, building envelope, civil/site, and utility work Inspect and evaluate electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing installations Ensure all phases of construction comply with contract specifications, approved drawings, codes, and regulations Review and evaluate RFIs, construction submittals, contractor quality control plans, and quality management procedures Review project deficiencies, claims, requests for equitable adjustments, and technical interpretations of plans and specifications Evaluate pricing and documentation for change orders Attend weekly project meetings and provide technical feedback and solutions to active project issues Submit monthly progress reports detailing accomplishments, challenges, and upcoming activities Qualifications 12+ years of experience in construction, preferably supporting federal or DoD projects CQM Certification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Strong understanding of federal construction standards, QA/QC processes, and contract compliance Ability to work fully onsite in a secure government environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
