Position Security Officer Patrol – Rancho Cucamonga, CA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.99 / Hour Job Schedule Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government services location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, public waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing employees and members of the public, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols. Support staff and visitors during high-traffic periods, help to de-escalate tense interactions when appropriate, and follow post orders for incident response and reporting. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
