RN - Cardiac Device

Work Schedule 100% FTE, day shift between 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends, no holidays, no on call. Hours based on operational needs. Work onsite at a cardiac device location (UW Health Arbor Gate Heart Clinic, UW Health Eastpark Medical Center, University Hospital). Regional travel may be required but will be infrequent. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate care for patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs) across inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform device interrogations, patient/device monitoring, and troubleshooting in clinic and hospital environments including MRI, Radiation Therapy, the Emergency Department, procedural areas, and inpatient units. Partner closely with EP, interventional cardiology, heart failure, and cardiothoracic surgery teams to support complex cardiovascular patients and optimize outcomes. Provide comprehensive patient and family education regarding disease management, device monitoring, arrhythmia symptoms, and follow‑up care. Analyze clinical data, support quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to evidence‑based cardiovascular device practices through collaboration and process improvement opportunities. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. 3 years of nursing experience with emphasis on cardiovascular patient care, including telemetry monitoring (required). 5 years of relevant clinical knowledge (preferred). 5 years of experience in a multi‑cardiac setting – EP lab, Cardiac Cath lab, or ICU (preferred). Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care.
