Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with property management experience? We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential apartment community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with residents, and is committed to maintaining compliance and high operational standards.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment community
Lease apartments and process rental applications
Review income documentation and determine HUD eligibility
Verify required applicant documentation, including citizenship requirements
Conduct move-in, move-out, and routine unit inspections
Issue lease violations and ensure community policies are followed
Coordinate and monitor maintenance work orders
Supervise maintenance staff and conduct employee performance evaluations
Work with outside vendors for repairs and services as needed
Review and approve vendor invoices for processing
Collect rent and security deposits (check, money order, and online payments)
Utilize property management software to maintain accurate records

Skills and Experience

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working within strict compliance guidelines
Previous property management experience preferred

Additional Information

Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours property emergencies, including fires, floods, and other urgent situations.
Background check and drug screen required.
