Overview General Manager in Training at McDonald’s. Candidates should have previous General Manager experience or experience in hospitality or retail. Must be 18 years or older. Flexible scheduling with a positive, value‑focused work environment. Responsibilities Run a profitable restaurant and ensure adherence to McDonald’s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards. Set restaurant goals with the restaurant leader and develop plans to achieve them. Lead Department Managers, setting their own goals, monitoring progress, and coaching to improve performance. Manage all people processes: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, coaching, and motivation. Make critical business decisions around inventory, budgets, food ordering, and cost control. Maintain high food safety and guest and employee safety standards. Oversee operational needs, including maintenance plans, to meet and exceed standards of excellence. Qualifications Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace. Strong customer‑service and support focus. Excellent communication skills and ability to anticipate customer needs. Decision‑making ability in a fast‑paced environment.
