Job Description
CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location

Between Denver and Grand Junction, Colorado

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts (1900 - 0730) including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses who are also willing to cover the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). The ideal candidate will have Day 0 CVICU experience and will be committed to making a difference in our community by providing care in a smaller independent hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to CVICU patients.
• Float to Acute Care (Med Surge) as needed.
• Participate in the call rotation (1 call shift per 2-week period).
• Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team in the Cath Labs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience.
• Current Colorado RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 3 years RN critical care experience.
