You may be responsible for maintaining the safety, appearance, and functionality of district grounds and outdoor facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining school properties, athletic fields, landscaping, and outdoor spaces to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain school grounds including lawns, gardens, athletic fields, parking lots, and walkwaysPerform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging.Maintain and prepare athletic fields for practices and eventsOperate and maintain grounds equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping toolsPerform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow and ice removal, and storm cleanupAssist with irrigation system maintenance and repairsMaintain landscaping including planting, pruning, and general upkeep of trees and shrubsMonitor grounds for safety hazards and report maintenance issuesAssist facilities staff with outdoor event setup and special projects as neededFollow all district safety procedures and equipment operating guidelinesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMust be able to pass State Background CheckExperience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related work preferredAbility to operate landscaping and grounds equipment safelyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsValid driver's license required.Benefits:Full-TimePay rate: $18.50/hrHours: 40hrs/week, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–FridayHealth Benefits PackageAncillary benefits—Life insurance, Long Term Disability, FSA, and Dependent Spending care401KOpportunity for growthPritchard Industries participates in E-Verify.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
