Role Description

The Granicus Experience Group (GXG) is Granicus’ in-house digital agency, a cross-functional team of strategists, analysts, communicators, and Granicus technology experts focused on customer experience and digital communications. We leverage best-in-class human-centered practices and a design-thinking approach to help our federal, state, and local government customers better connect with the people they serve.

GXG is seeking a Data & Insights Consultant to operationalize, analyze, and measure the performance of digital campaigns and user journeys across multi-channel communications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making for our clients.

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to assess campaign performance and audience behavior.
• Build custom reports and dashboards that communicate insights clearly and effectively.
• Develop data-driven narratives aligned with clients’ digital communication goals.
• Provide actionable recommendations that enhance outreach strategies and improve user experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing reporting tools and dashboard visualizations; familiarity with tools like Amazon QuickSight and Tableau is a plus.
• Skilled in building reports using data from multiple databases and sources.
• Strong background in quantitative research and statistical analysis; experience with qualitative research is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web analytics and behavioral data, including event-based and engagement datasets from tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, Siteimprove, or similar.
• Expertise in analyzing digital communication data, including platforms such as the Granicus family of products, email marketing tools, web analytics, social media, surveys, and other emerging channels.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives aligned with client goals.
• Curious and motivated to stay current with trends in data analytics and the public sector.
• Comfortable leading client-facing workstreams focused on reporting and dashboarding.
• Experience and/or enthusiasm for working with government clients.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and a strong data-first mindset.
• Passion for public service, citizen engagement, and communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital marketing analysis and dashboard building, working with external customers, preferably in a digital or consulting agency serving government or at a government agency with a focus on large communications programs.
