What You’ll Do As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments. You’ll: Build positive connections with customers and teammates Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly Every shift, your work helps keep our store running smoothly and our customers coming back. What You Bring A friendly, customer‑first mindset Strong listening and communication skills Comfort learning and using job‑specific technology Attention to detail and ability to stay organized Ability to follow processes and safety standards Calm, focused approach in a fast‑paced environment Willingness to be physically active, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods A passion in working with customers every day Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization. This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked.
