Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Los Angeles, CA

Are you an experienced LVN with a strong OB/GYN background? We're seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join an outpatient OB/GYN team in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you'll provide hands-on nursing support, assist with women's health procedures, perform venipuncture and phlebotomy, and help deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. What the job is like:

• Pay: $37.00 per hour
• Schedule: Days | Mon-Fri | 40 Hours/Week
• Shifts: 5x8s | 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM6:00 PM
• Location: Los Angeles, CA
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: September 21, 2026

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Licenses and Certifications:

• Active California LVN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Current IV/Blood Withdrawal Certification

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN clinic experience
• Hands-on venipuncture experience required
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs
• Epic experience preferred

Required OB/GYN Procedure Experience:

• Pap smears
• Colposcopy
• LEEP
• D&C
• Endometrial biopsy (EMB)
• IUD insertions and removals
• Nexplanon
• Non-Stress Testing (NST)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing support and patient-centered care in an outpatient OB/GYN setting
• Obtain patient histories, allergies and vital signs, and perform medication reconciliation, pain assessments and blood glucose monitoring
• Perform venipuncture, phlebotomy and blood/lab draws, and start and maintain IVs
• Administer medications and vaccines as appropriate, including IM and subcutaneous medications
• Assist with OB/GYN and women's health procedures, including specimen collection, labeling and patient preparation
• Provide telephone triage, patient follow-up, and support pharmacy/refill requests
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information in the electronic medical record
• Follow appropriate safety, infection-control and PPE practices
• Float to other outpatient OB/GYN clinics as needed
