Production Manager – Signage IndustryWe are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in the signage or sign manufacturing industry. This is a hands-on role, requiring active involvement on the production floor, supervising a small team, operating equipment, and ensuring high-quality signage projects are delivered on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Oversight: Manage and oversee day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring all projects meet quality standards, timelines, and client specifications.Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of at least 5 production staff, providing direction, training, and performance guidance.Hands-On Work: Spend significant time on the shop floor actively participating in the manufacturing and installation processes.Operational Management: Handle office responsibilities including material procurement, scheduling, job tracking, and quoting for new business opportunities.Equipment Operation: Operate and supervise use of CNC Router, Plotter, and other production equipment related to signage manufacturing.Process Improvement: Streamline workflow efficiency, optimize production schedules, and implement best practices in signage fabrication.Software Utilization (Preferred): Work with design and production software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Flexi (SAi), EnRoute, or other industry-relevant tools.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in signage production or structural sign manufacturing.Proven track record supervising 5 or more team members in a production or fabrication environment.Willingness to work primarily on the production floor (not a desk-only role).Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.Experience in operating key equipment: CNC Router and Plotter.Good to have: proficiency in design/production software (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Flexi, EnRoute).Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and clients.
