Test 6 - OC Warehouse

Job purpose

The Floral production associate is responsible for building floral arrangements in crates as well as floral bouquet arrangements and assisting in receiving weekly floral deliveries when necessary. 

Duties and responsibilities

1. A floral production associate on average will build 10 arrangements per hour if assisted with prep work. If not assisted the production goal is five arrangements per hour.
2. Understand and follow quality expectations.
3. Wash buckets daily.
4. When necessary, train other team members on quality and processes.
5. Unload, prep, and assist in putting away received flowers.
6. Build candle arrangements.
7. Prep crates when necessary.
8. Assist in mossing arrangements when necessary.
9. Assist Floral Team with any project necessary to complete daily orders.
10. Assisting other departments when necessary.

Working Conditions

This position operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard giftwrapping equipment such as wheeled carts, wooden crates and various containers, craft paper, ribbon, gift wrap and/or bubble wrap, staplers, scissors, and tape dispensers. Warehouse floor will be wet in certain areas.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is constantly standing and walking; frequently lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling. The employee is required to use various hand motions throughout the day and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
