Travel RN - Behavioral HealthThis role requires a travel RN specialized in behavioral health. The unit focuses on geriatric psychiatric care. The facility has a capacity of 120 beds and employs around 50 staff members. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:8 or 1:9 during days and nights. Typical equipment used includes Welsh Allen VS Machines and EMR is Meditech. Candidates should possess strong inpatient behavioral health experience. Responsibilities include admissions and discharges of behavioral health patients. Lead RN resources and classes are provided. RNs may float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to handle varying patient acuity. Being a team player and demonstrating compassion are essential qualities. The work environment promotes collaboration and support among staff.
