What you'll be doing

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce close-tolerance precision components
• Operate CNC mills as needed
• Read blueprints, technical drawings and work instructions
• Make offsets and minor program edits
• Select tooling and optimize setups for repeatable production
• Assist with fixturing and workholding solutions
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Maintain quality documentation and follow AS9100 procedures

Machines, controls & software

• Machines: CNC lathes, with CNC mill work as needed
• Controls: Haas, Mazak or Fanuc experience is preferred
• CAM: Fusion 360, Mastercam or similar experience is preferred

What we're looking for

Required:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience with a strong lathe emphasis
• Proven CNC lathe setup and operation experience
• Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances
• Strong knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds and machining fundamentals
• Dependable, detail-oriented approach to quality

Preferred:

• CNC mill setup and operation experience
• G-code editing
• CAM experience with Fusion 360, Mastercam or similar software
• GD&T knowledge
• Haas, Mazak or Fanuc control experience
• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
• Trade-school, apprenticeship or equivalent training
