Step into a rewarding role as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive, small school community near Northeast Minneapolis, MN. This contract position spans the academic year from September 8, 2026, to June 10, 2027, partnering with educators and families to cultivate student growth and success. Two enthusiastic professionals are needed—one for an elementary Setting III classroom, and another for a dynamic middle school environment. School hours run from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 38.75 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification; Tier 3 or 4 licensure strongly preferred
- Experience working in either Setting III elementary or middle school classrooms
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
- Innovative mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Previous contract or W2 hourly experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Assess student needs and monitor progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with general education staff, related services, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to tailored education plans
- Foster a welcoming, structured, and supportive classroom climate
- Implement evidence-based practices to encourage academic and personal growth
