Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist who will join our dynamic team, committed to delivering exceptional imaging care. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each procedure, providing understandable explanations at each step
- Work closely with radiologists and referring providers to deliver accurate diagnostic images
- Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions promptly
- Accurately record procedures and update patient files in the electronic medical records system
- Stay abreast of innovations in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards
Education Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required
- Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred
