PRN Cardiovascular Sonographer AHMG Cardiology at Clermont

Location & Schedule AHMG Cardiology at Clermont Health Park, 1919 E. Hwy 50, Clermont, FL 34711. Monday – Friday, PRN schedule (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). May float to practices in Minneola and Winter Garden. Responsibilities Obtains a complete and current history of the patient and the reason for the exam. Performs quality echocardiogram and vascular studies for adequate diagnostic evaluation by the reading physicians. Obtains all views required for processing. Inputs notes and history at the completion of the exam. Inputs data at the completion of the exam. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarifies with offices, floors, or physicians as needed. Notifies the floor if the patient has had an echocardiogram within the past six months. Utilizes all safety measures provided for the department and individual technologists. Always uses two types of patient identifiers, such as name and date of birth. Assures proper positioning, technique, and protocol for each exam. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities None listed. Education High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) Technical/Vocational School Required Field of Study Graduate of a JCERT approved Cardiovascular program/ARDMS/RCIS registered/registry eligible.
