Inside Sales & Sales Support Specialist

Our client is a global manufacturer of high-performance engineering plastics, polymers and advanced material solutions serving demanding applications across Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, Medical, Industrial and Consumer markets .

As part of continued growth throughout North America, they are seeking an Inside Sales & Sales Support Specialist to provide day-to-day commercial and operational support to customers, distributors and the wider sales organization. This is a highly collaborative position combining inside sales, sales operations, forecasting, pricing, CRM/ERP administration and customer support within an international organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Accounting and other internal teams to ensure customer and sales information is accurate, commercial activities are effectively coordinated, and the sales organization has the data and operational support required to successfully manage its customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day communication and provide responsive sales and operational support to customers and distributors .
• Support inside sales activities, including responding to customer inquiries and coordinating appropriate follow-up with sales and internal teams.
• Prepare, maintain and analyze sales forecasts, reports and commercial data to support sales planning and decision-making.
• Manage pricing administration, including price registrations, updates and maintenance within internal systems.
• Support credit-management activities and coordinate with Accounting and Finance teams as required.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales information within Salesforce CRM .
• Support SAP-based sales administration and order-management activities , ensuring information is processed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain customer records, contracts, pricing information and other sales documentation.
• Support monthly sales reporting, forecasting and other ongoing sales-operations activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Accounting and Finance to resolve issues and support customer requirements.
• Ensure sales-related information and documentation is processed accurately, efficiently and within required deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience within inside sales, sales support, sales operations, distributor/customer support, data management or a related commercial function.
• Experience working with CRM and/or ERP platforms , with Salesforce and SAP experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including practical experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and PivotTables .
• Strong analytical and data-management capabilities with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business applications.
• Business-level proficiency in English.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience supporting distributors and B2B customers within a manufacturing, materials, chemicals or technical products environment.
• Experience with sales forecasting, pricing administration or credit management .
• Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM and SAP within a sales or commercial environment.
• Experience working within an international or multicultural organization would be advantageous.

Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan (Hybrid Remote + Travel)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire

Compensation: $85,000 – $90,000 Base Salary (Negotiable Based on Experience)
