Lead Medical Receptionist Full-TimeSpinal Recovery Center helps patients get their lives back through advanced, non-surgical spinal and joint care. Our team combines innovative technology with compassionate, personalized treatment to help patients achieve lasting results.We're seeking an experienced Lead Medical Receptionist to oversee daily front office operations and lead a high-performing administrative team. This role is responsible for supporting efficient scheduling, accurate collections, strong team performance, and a positive patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, collections, and front office workflows.Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate front desk team members.Ensure accurate insurance verification, eligibility, copayment, coinsurance, and deductible collection processes.Manage staffing schedules, PTO requests, and cross-coverage needs.Monitor team performance using KPIs, scorecards, reports, and other performance metrics.Review collections, payment posting, and ABN compliance.Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, waitlists, and open appointment opportunities.Address patient concerns and escalations professionally and promptly.Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to maintain efficient and accurate workflows.Conduct team meetings, training, and development activities.Provide operational updates and performance reports to the Practice Administrator.Support hiring and performance management activities as needed.Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.Qualifications RequiredHigh School Diploma or GED.At least 5 years of medical front desk experience.At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.Strong knowledge of insurance verification, eligibility, copayments, deductibles, and patient billing practices.Experience with EMR and practice management systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.PreferredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Office Management, or a related field.Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) scheduling experience.Experience overseeing front office operations across multiple locations.BenefitsHealth, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife & AD&D Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time Off (PTO) & Sick TimeCompany-Paid HolidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramLifeMart Employee Discount ProgramHealth Management ToolsEmergency Travel Assistance ProgramBonusly Employee RecognitionDailyPay On-Demand Pay AccessIf you're an experienced Lead Medical Receptionist ready to lead a healthcare administrative team, improve clinic operations, and make a meaningful difference in the patient experience, we'd love to hear from you.
