Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership as RN Lead, supervising nursing and ancillary personnel on the care team.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff to coordinate patient care across the unit.
- Ensure delivery of cost-effective, professional care that yields positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining patient safety.
- Assess and improve quality of the patient experience; identify opportunities for process and workflow improvements.
- Manage patient flow and staffing needs, delegating tasks and ensuring appropriate coverage for a high-acuity environment.
- Mentor and supervise staff across levels, upholding standards of practice and supporting professional development.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a nursing unit, preferably in emergency or high-acuity care
- Ability to work a 3x12-night schedule
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care
