Key Responsibilities Maintain HVAC systems, including Hydronic, Steam, Forced Hot Air, and Heat Pump systems Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment Maintain a high standard of mechanical installation practices Perform preventive maintenance on equipment Deliver quality workmanship while adhering to company safety standards Complete documentation and service records accurately Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 to 5 years of HVAC service and installation experience, or an equivalent combination of vocational training and experience Experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC and related equipment CFC Certification required Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and any required background checks, including DMV and criminal history reviews Commitment to following all company policies and procedures Skills & Abilities Ability to troubleshoot issues with systematic, thoughtful, timely, and effective solutions Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment Experience providing quality, professional customer service Ability to work and communicate effectively both independently and in a team environment Ability to handle disruptions and changing priorities with professionalism Ability to work independently in a commercial setting Work Environment & Physical Requirements May be required to drive or ride in a vehicle for two or more hours at a time May work at outdoor job sites with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions Frequent use of hands to handle tools, equipment, and controls Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous physical work in field conditions May work with or around construction materials and chemicals requiring safety data sheet knowledge Southern Air, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
