Registered Nurse - Orthopedics

Role Overview This position involves practicing professional nursing by performing both independent and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards. Responsibilities include initiating and providing comprehensive nursing care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and patient support. The nurse builds strong patient relationships, actively assesses patient needs, and responds promptly to ensure quality care. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and emergency policies, including medication safety and infection control. Evaluate health status through data collection and analysis, prioritizing patient needs and developing care plans. Triages patients and manages emergency situations with appropriate interventions. Provide health education and counseling to patients and families. Administer delegated medical functions, including medications and intravenous therapies, following legal and clinical guidelines. Coordinate care across services, manage patient populations, and support healthcare teams through role modeling and leadership. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring patient needs are met effectively. Qualifications And Skills Minimum of one year RN experience. Graduate of an accredited RN program with clinical experience under supervision. High School diploma or GED. Current RN license.
