Product Owner / Product Manager
Duration: 6+ months Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site 2-3 days/week)
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner / Product Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of innovative digital products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs. This role requires strong Agile experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive products from concept through launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and customer requirements.
- Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined and prioritized.
- Work closely with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize features based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility.
- Monitor product performance using KPIs and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align product initiatives with organizational goals.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to ensure successful product delivery.
- Support product releases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-to-market activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product management role.
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience managing product backlogs and writing user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
