Key responsibilities include:* **Direct Care**: Administer medications, treatments, and physician orders, and take full responsibility for resident care.* **Collaborate and Communicate**: Work closely with physicians, supervisors, and families to ensure the best care for residents.* **Assessment & Supervision**: Complete resident assessments and supervise LPNs in gathering important data.* **Workforce Coordination**: Partner with the Director of Nursing to manage special care needs, resident transfers, and staffing workload.* **Admissions & Family Involvement**: Plan for resident admissions, involving families in the care process.* **Comfort & Support**: Provide emotional and physical comfort to residents, offering families the support they need.* **Leadership**: Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), supporting their development and ensuring top-quality care.**What You Need to Succeed:*** Graduate of a state-approved nursing program* Current Iowa RN license* CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)* Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed* Excellent attendance and reliabilityAdditionally, when applying, you’ll have the opportunity to specify your preferred **shift**, and **weekly hours**.**If you or someone you know would be a great fit for this role, we’d love to talk with you!** Join us at **Parkview Manor**, where you can make a tangible difference in the lives of the people who call our community home.**About Us:****Parkview Senior Living** is part of a **close-knit rural community** in Reinbeck, Iowa, located just minutes from the vibrant Waterloo/Cedar Falls area.
