Prototype Machinist Level 4

Experimental CNC Machinist Location: Littleton, CO Responsibilities Follow instructions to machine, fabricate, or assemble parts to print and operation sheet specifications using CNC machines. Interpret CAD data, prints, and sketches regarding fabrication and follow written instructions. Set up and operate computer numerical controlled vertical machines, performing operations such as drilling, milling, boring, and threading on any/all types of work within the scope of the machine. Perform secondary operations during machine cycle such as deburring and straightening work area. Inspect parts prior to submission and as they are produced using standard gauges, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gauges, and other measuring devices to ensure conformity to specifications. Select and install proper cutting tools, zero the machine to control and make other necessary setup adjustments. Assist in providing feedback on prescribed processes. Basic Qualifications Minimum of 5 years as a CNC Machinist. Ability to read and interpret GD&T documents. Proficiency with using precision measuring equipment. Proficient in CAM software. US Citizen. Desired Skills Completion of a Machine Tool Technology program preferred. AS9100 environment experience. Mastercam 2024/25 experience.
