Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, incorporating physical examinations and extensive review of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Partner with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance by preparing surgical suites, positioning patients, and managing surgical instruments
• Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning for discharge, and educating patients

Education

• A Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis are highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required
• State licensing (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
