Logistics Manager

Manage a fleet of 3 trucks, trailers, and drivers. Develop a plan to grow fleet as needed.
Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and is up to date on DOT requirements.
Communicate and coordinate with onsite project managers to determine equipment needs and execute pick up delivery of equipment in a timely manner.
Work with equipment maintenance team to facilitate pick up and delivery of equipment to various shops.
Create and implement a trucking schedule.
Willingness to load equipment and drive a truck when needed.
Record and maintain driver files.
Keep company in good standing with DOT/VCR Record keeping.
Develop and implement Equipment Inventory Management System to track all assets.
Work with Equipment Manager to schedule preventative maintenance.
Will be involved in employment onboarding of CDL Drivers to develop their own team.
Responsible for training & evaluating abilities of drivers.
Assist with labor tasks as necessary.
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand and work outside in all seasons and weather conditions.
