Mike Calvert Ford is proud to be the newest addition to the Vaughan Automotive Group family. As our newest acquired dealership, we're entering an exciting new chapter — bringing fresh energy, new opportunities, and renewed investment in our people and our customers.
We're looking for a motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join us and help customers find the right new or pre-owned vehicle. The ideal candidate is personable, goal-driven, and passionate about delivering a great customer experience from first contact through delivery. Prior relationship-oriented sales experience is a major plus!
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers on the lot, in the showroom, and through online/phone inquiries
- Assess customer needs and guide them through vehicle selection, features, and financing options
- Conduct test drives and present vehicle demonstrations
- Present pricing, negotiate deals, and close sales in line with dealership policies
- Follow up with leads and prospects using CRM tools to maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Coordinate with finance and management teams to complete paperwork and financing arrangements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current Ford inventory, incentives, and promotions
- Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring a positive final experience
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
- High School Diploma
- Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills
- Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior relationship-oriented sales experience
- Previous automotive or big-ticket retail sales experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
