Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and therapy goals
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident rehabilitation and functional independence
• Educate residents and family members on therapeutic techniques and home programs as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure in the state of Texas
• Current NBCOT certification
• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel or contract therapy experience
• Familiarity with SNF-specific documentation and compliance requirements
• Experience with restorative and rehabilitative therapy programs in a post-acute setting
