Production Operator

Role and Responsibilities

Team Members must demonstrate core skills which include understanding Company safety policies, housekeeping standards, statistical process control, following verbal and written instructions, knowing the product line and manufacturing standards, and the essential duties for assigned workstations.

Shift: 8hr shifts – shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am

Compensation: $21.79

Job Location: Little Rock, AR

Essential Job Functions

• Operate various machine sections and associated equipment

• Conduct machine set-ups, changeovers, and adjustments

• Operate and monitor support systems to maintain production flow

• Supply raw materials to production line

• Conduct quality inspections, testing, and documentation to maintain product specifications

• Remove, stage, and prepare finished product

• Maintain recycling centers, housekeeping standards, and 5S practices in assigned work areas

• Assist in all machine startups, lace-ups, and troubleshooting activities

• Complete required production paperwork, counts, and system entries

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Must be able to read, write, perform the four basic math functions, and be physically able to perform the essential duties

• Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn equipment operation, machine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting

• Basic knowledge of 5S principles

• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and the use of required PPE

• Commitment to producing quality products and following established quality standards

• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and communicate equipment, material, and process issues

• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization

• Must have the ability to recognize and prioritize various tasks/projects at the same time

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, work 8 to 12 hour shifts, repeatedly lift up to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders as required to perform job duties

• Ability to work in a team environment and support multiple production areas as needed

• Ability to adapt to changing production demands and priorities
