Oliver Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to support the smooth flow of materials and finished products throughout our operations. In this hands-on position, you will prepare and process shipments, receive incoming materials, maintain accurate records, and help ensure products and inventory are handled properly from arrival through delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working in a fast-paced environment, and contributing to a team.

HOURS: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

About the Role:

As our Shipping and Receiving Associate , you will:

• Prepare products for shipment and ensure loads are properly secured using shrink-wrap, straps, or other approved methods.
• Generate and complete required shipping documentation, including packing lists and bills of lading, in accordance with customer requirements and internal standards.
• Create shipping labels for products and UPS/FedEx shipments.
• Load and unload trucks and cargo vans using safe and efficient material-handling practices.
• Receive, inspect, and properly distribute incoming shipments to designated areas or departments, ensuring appropriate personnel are notified of deliveries.
• Track shipments and receipts to and from outside vendors.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment and receipt information in Monarch (ERP system) in a timely manner.
• When needed, schedule transportation for outgoing customer shipments based on customer routing instructions and internal requirements.
• Respond to requests for shipment tracking and delivery information.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly shipping and receiving area.
• Ensure materials, products, and inventory are properly stored, tagged, and organized. Segregate and clearly identify returnable or non-usable inventory and properly mark customer-owned or supplied materials.
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to the agreed-upon work schedule, which are essential functions of the position.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

About You:

You're a fit for our Shipping and Receiving Associate role if you have:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or material handling
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage shipments, receipts, inventory, and related documentation.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use ERP systems and shipping software. Experience with Monarch or a similar ERP system is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with drivers, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and commitment to maintaining a consistent work schedule.
• A team-oriented, positive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
