Facilities Technician

Under general supervision of the facilities manager, the facilities technician supports the operation, maintenance, calibration, and repair activities relating to Tiger San Diego's cGMP Manufacturing Plant and Tiger San Diego Offices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain manufacturing and facility
2. Read and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic
3. Maintain areas of the facility in a state of FDA inspection
4. Complete annual, monthly, weekly and daily maintenance and calibration
5. Perform equipment and facility Maintenance per
6. Perform limited equipment
7. Troubleshoot and support the resolution of Quality
8. Assist with oversight of various site service
9. Support the change management system for validated equipment, utilities and
10. Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma, GED, or construction trade school required. Experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment problems. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a cGMP manufacturing plant.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write notes, documentation, routine reports and correspondence. Ability to complete forms accurately. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Computer Skills

Technological proficiency for use of the personal computer, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Internet.
