Overview:

Our high-volume spay and neuter nonprofit clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Support Specialist to assist our clients at the front desk and help us provide essential services to underserved communities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet clients at the front desk, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and ensure a smooth flow of traffic
• Handle phone calls, emails, and messages in a professional and friendly manner
• Process payments and handle billing inquiries
• Maintain and organize client records and medical histories using clinic software
• Provide clients with information on clinic services, procedures, and aftercare instructions
• Ensure that the front desk area is organized and welcoming for clients and their pets
• Address client concerns or issues with a compassionate and solution oriented approach
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information in accordance with clinic policies
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support clinic functions

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role (veterinary experience is a must)
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to interacting with clients
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic proficiency in computer software (experience with veterinary software such as ClinicHQ or DaySmart (formerly Vetter) is a plus)
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and helping underserved communities
• Team oriented and willing to assist with various tasks as needed
