Senior Metallurgist

Our client is looking for an experienced Metallurgical Engineer to provide technical leadership in the processing plant—ensuring safety compliance, meeting production targets with deep process knowledge (concentrator/leach flow sheets), identifying/implementing cost improvements, assisting with forecasts/budgets/models, preparing test work, monitoring data, supporting commissioning, and mentoring technicians/operations teams.
It’s a hands-on leadership role optimizing process performance and safety in mining, perfect if you enjoy technical improvements, production delivery, and team coaching in responsible metal production.
Requirements
- University degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, orEngineering.
- 8+ years of experience within metallurgical teams ofoperating processing plants.
- Essential familiarity with copper andmolybdenum flotation processing plants, including the flotation of oxides.
- Theoretical and practical experience with safety management, assetutilization, process variation (SPC), and metallurgical accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, establish standards, andschedule resources effectively to achieve pre-defined targets.
