About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting during night shift hours
• Perform IV insertions and PICC line management as part of routine patient care
• Conduct telemetry interpretation and monitor patients requiring ventilator support
• Document patient assessments and care accurately using Meditech charting system
• Float to other departments and facilities as needed based on departmental rotation schedules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of emergency room nursing experience
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ventilator management in an emergency or critical care environment
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic health records system
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry interpretation
