Credit AnalystFirst Federal Bank of Louisiana is currently seeking a Credit Analyst in the Business Banking Department. The position is not a remote position; it is located in-person at the Main Office in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Develops and analyzes credit/financial information pertaining to diversified types of business loans, prepares detailed and summary analysis reports relating to financial condition of business borrowers for loan officers or committees, and maintains an ongoing credit review process on existing business borrowers with outstanding loan balances, accompanies officers on customer calls when requested.Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Develops credit information for use by lending officers or committees in making credit decisions on new, renewal, and extension loansReviews all pertinent credit and financial information including bank files, credit reporting services, and financial institutionsPrepares spreadsheets and related financial informationPrepares summary reports, presents facts and offers opinions concerning credit worthiness to loan officers and/or committeesAssists lenders/loan officers in preparation of loan application package for loan committee presentationsPeriodically, but no less than annually, reviews credit files to ensure information is current and reports any difficulties to the loan officers; monitors credit files to assure current financial statements and other pertinent items are availablePerforms annual reviews on specified business customers whose outstanding loan balances exceed defined aggregate debt thresholds; prepares comparative analysis report for file documentation; determines loan classification ratingsCompliance training is assigned to all Bank personnel based on their position with the bank. Employees are required to complete all assigned training timely and in accordance with Banks policy. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in accounting, business or finance; and A minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training in analyzing financial information and making industry evaluations.
